Does Valentine's Day bring out the latent romantic in you or does it stir your inner cynic? Whichever is the case, there's no denying that love and romance have an enduring hold on our lives - there can be no other theme that has so powerfully inspired poets and writers through the ages. 'A Many Splendoured Thing' is an anthology that offers a highly eclectic mix of different perspectives on love, from classic to modern, from sentimental to caustic, from touching to hilarious.

We are a small group of performers from the theatre group Shakespeare Live, and we invite you to join us on 10th February in Swindon or on the 14th itself in Corsham to share a gloriously entertaining evening exploring the many faces of love in poetry, prose and music. Fight your way out from under the flowers and chocolates and come and laugh with us, cry with us - or just sigh with us.... Whatever your mood, there will be something there for you!

An English country garden, open air Shakespeare - The quintessential English Summer event. Following 21 years of annual productions in the beautiful gardens of Hazelbury Manor, Shakespeare Live has raised amateur Shakespeare to professional levels. Now in their twenty second year, Shakespeare Live are moving to the spacious, beautiful grounds of Lackham House

We invite you to join us in celebrating the English summer and the genius of Shakespeare. Bring your picnic to the lawns of the country house and, on Gala Nights, be entertained by a jazz band, dancers and jugglers, before watching the play from the covered stand.

Profits from the annual production are donated to annually nominated charities.
