2013 Play - Update!
In the Autumn newsletter, it was suggested that the 2013 production would be chosen from a short list of
Romeo and Juliet, The Comedy of Errors or The Taming of the Shrew. To date, there have been no
submissions. Therefore, we will now invite submissions for any
Shakespeare play. However, we will ask you to be aware of the
financial backdrop and that we are looking for a production that
will have a high level of audience appeal.
The committee will not consider any play performed by
Shakespeare Live within the last seven years, so this
precludes: Twelfth Night, Hamlet, Much Ado About Nothing,
The Merchant of Venice, All's Well that Ends Well,
A Midsummer Night's Dream or As You Like It.
To allow people enough time to consider, we have extended the
deadline. Please submit your vision of your chosen play by
Sunday12
th
February.
Twelfth Night.
